Morimoto RetroRubber Butyl Glue Morimoto RetroRubber Butyl Glue Morimoto Protection: is priceless! When you're putting together a set of high-end headlights, the last thing you want is moisture in 'em the first time it rains outside. Finally in our hands! A product that puts OEM sealant in an easily-applicable form factor.Purpose: Until now, the only other butyl-ropes on the market were meant for "universal" applications, and true headlight butyl only came in blocks that were nearly impossible to apply. Morimoto's Retro-Rubber is designed specifically for resealing headlights, not windshields, sunroofs, etc.Consistency: At room temperature, the RetroRubber has a much harder consistency compared to OCI Butyl glue. Given the "fingernail test" it will harden up just like any OEM Butyl Rubber glue once cooled.Color: Not all headlights are created equally! Whether your housing was originally sealed with black or gray glue, the RetroRubber has you covered with options. Available in....you guessed it, black or gray... you won't have to settle for a mis-match.Quantity: Each roll comes with 4M of glue, which is easily enough to re-seal two or more large headlights. Simply stretch it out until it's the perfect thickness to fit inside the headlight channel, cut it to length, rough-fit the lens back onto the housing, heat for at 265F for seven minutes, and compress the housing back together. Done!Confidence: Order with confidence when purchasing through our website. New Lenses for a KIA

I bought Morimoto Retro Rubber Butyl Glue to seal the new lenses for my 2013 Kia Sportage and I can say that it worked like a charm. I have taken a trip since the replacement two weeks ago and driven through 2 days of rain and the seals are leak free. Maybe I should have titled this review "Worked like a charm!"

Morimoto RetroRubber is my go-to!

Morimoto RetroRubber works excellent for sealing 2015-2021 WRX/STI Headlights. The thickness is perfect for the channel which is why I purchase Morimoto over Diode Dynamics. Diode Dynamics is not as thick, so it typically takes two runs around the channel to fill it adequately.

Easy to follow instructions and easy to set up

I got the dreaded water in my headlight and following this video and using the product, I was able to fix it perfectly. It wasn't as easy as the video made it because it was my first time and I had a different headlight, but the concept was the same and the product worked really well. There's more than enough to do about 5 cars with, so that's great for future use.

Easy Like Play Dough

It's incredibly pliable, literally just stretch it to fit in the channels, then bake or heat gun the headlamp back together. Sealed two lamps and there's still plenty retrorubber left in the box.
