Written by mike s | the team is helpful professional and extremely quick, I made an appointment at LIGHTWERKZ and spoke to caesar and his crew about the type of retro fit for an 05 saturn ION, not having many after market parts they where prefect for the job. Upon an e-mail about completion I responded quickly and was ready for an install. I was greeted and welcomed into the shop just as before, a short drive to the shop the instal in total was about and hour. Everything was handled as if they where walking on eggs and they even let me help out a little bit, making me feel as if i was part of the team. it was a great experience to the quick e-mail response time to the install to the final professional install and factory look. I know now thanks to lightwerkz that I have a stock looking headlight housing, but still a custom aftermarket product. |
Written by J. Cusack | If you're considering a retrofit HID lighting system, go no further. LIGHTWERKZ is the premier expert for aftermarket automotive lighting solutions. I've wanted to upgrade the lighting on my MKIV supra for years. Although the Supra comes with halogen projectors, compared to modern lighting technology, they're pretty awful at best. After seeing some inexpensive HID re-based kits for supras, I was still disappointed. I learned that without the proper projectors/lenses, the HID light is VERY diffuse and blotchy. There is no substitution for a proper retrofit. With advice from Caesar, I decided to go with S2000 projectors (with DIGITAL 55w 5000k D2S kit) transplanted into brand new '98 housings. The retrofit service from LIGHTWERKZ is flawless and looks totally OEM. The actual install into the car was a breeze with the help of LIGHTWERKZ custom "plug-and-play" harness. If you're even considering doing the install yourself, throw down the extra change for the custom harness, it will save you hours of labor. I wish I would have done this upgrade years ago. If you do any type of late night canyon carving, you absolutely need real HID's. The rest of the driving situations are icing on the cake. Rest assured, LIGHTWERKS is the place you want to perform your HID retrofit. They have the experience, skills, customer service, and professionalism that seems to be absent from many other companies. So...when you're nailing that heel-toe a little too hot into the corner, or when that woodland critter crosses your path, you will clearly "see" the value of your decision...thanks to Caesar and all the guys at LIGHTWERKS! |

They overcame a few obstacles and never lost focus. I made the trip from Indiana because I wanted it installed right the FIRST time and they didn't disappoint. Lightwerkz did an outstanding job in rebuilding/retrofitting the OEM ZKW bi-xenon headlights in my BMW E46 330i ZHP (TFX projector retrofit - unfortunately, the OEM bi-xenon projector bowls in these cars are prone to failure due to an apparent defect in material design).
